Automated environment simulation with monitoring and documentation

Inobalt's environmental simulation systems enable users to automate their trials and testing procedures. A compatible system that brings together different test stands plus environmental monitoring in a single system using LAN. The test stands can be centrally monitored from any PC on the network. Data can be evaluated and documented.
Environmental simulation systems are intended for users who test products in testing laboratories, in industry and in academic institutions. Inobalt products are used also by system integrators to develop turn-key solutions for their customers.
The many Inobalt applications being used in the chemical industries, in instrument manufacture and in the automotive industry provide Inobalt with a wealth of experience in batch and process engineering. Inobalt's hardware and software are at the core of these applications, and deliver reliable and inexpensive solutions.

Basic functioning

  • Input of parameters
  • Monitoring functionality
  • Controlling test procedures
  • Measurement data acquisition
  • Operation and observation
  • Centralized processing of data
  • Evaluation and documentation of test results
  • SQL interface to integrate company database systems

Networking capability

Inobalt's hardware and software are fully network-compatible. Any PC workstation can be used to evaluate data, input parameters, and operate and observe processes.

Parallel running of multiple test procedures

Inobalt systems support the parallel running of multiple test procedures. These procedures are performed independently of one another and can therefore be used to test different types of product (multi-applications).

Hardware for environmental simulation

Expert Key

Expert Key devices are inexpensive systems for measurement and control. They are equipped with analog and digital inputs/outputs as well as counter and frequency inputs.

LogMessage

LogMessage devices can function as stand-alone units and perform basic functions such as monitoring, control and data recording. They can therefore function continuously even in the event of PC or network failures.
Special features include inputs with isolation voltages of up to 800 VDC. These enable, for example, temperature measurement in cases where thermocouples are directly connected to live electrical components.

ProfiMessage

ProfiMessage are modular measurement and control devices. They are suitable for large numbers of channels (upwards of 30) as master-slave systems.

Software

ProfiSignal Klicks software enables users to perform monitoring, control and automation of environmental test procedures. ProfiSignal Klicks is made up of modules that contain all the functions required for environmental simulation systems. Klicks is software that requires configuration rather than programming.

Benefits of Inobalt products

  • Klicks module for parameter input enables fast set-up of testing procedures
  • Operation from any PC workstation via LAN-TCP/IP
  • Klicks module for dynamic reporting
  • Independent data logger for data security
  • Secure monitoring functions integrated into data logger
  • Data compression via Devistore to enable highly efficient use of storage space
  • Operation and monitoring during run time from any PC via LAN
  • Data evaluation (Online/Offline)
  • Hardware requires no extra transducers/ potential isolation
  • Unrestricted networking capability
  • Alarms via text messaging/email/output for threshold violations
  • Diverse interfaces and protocols for connecting external hardware, e.g. weighing equipment, analysis equipment, displays etc.
  • SQL interface to integrate company database systems

Interfaces

Interfaces enable measurement data to be exported into third-party systems. For example, data can be exported to Excel, and test parameters measurement data can be exchanged via ODBC/SQL.

Drivers for connecting laboratory equipment

LogMessage and ProfiMessage devices are equipped with USB and RS232/RS485 interfaces to connect measurement and control equipment, e.g. weighing machines and analysis and output devices. Protocols are available for a wide range of third-party products.
